FIELD: instrumentation engineering, navigation systems, systems for automatic control and stabilization of mobile objects: aircraft, floating craft and automobiles. SUBSTANCE: gyroscope incorporates rotor coming in the form of permanent magnet magnetized radially with bearing supports of suspension, flywheel put on shaft and linked to driving shaft by means of thinner shaft, stator including winding of motor. Stator is fabricated from special glass by technology enabling cylindrical members of construction with complex internal structure, specifically, with cylindrical holes of small diameter to be manufactured which makes it possible to reduce dimensions and mass of instrument as whole substantially. As result of design of electric motor drive of gyroscope by principle of valve actuator drive constancy of torque on shaft of motor and constancy of rotational speed of rotor are maintained which increases stability of kinetic moment and contributes to precision of gyroscope as whole.
