FIELD: organic chemistry, more particularly plasticizers of various polymers. SUBSTANCE: described is method of preparing polyester acrylate of general formula: wherein R is , and n is 2 or 3. Process is carried out under heating conditions in three stages by cooling after each stage and by reacting phthalic anhydride and monohydric alcohol at equimolar ratio thereof of 1:1 followed by treatment of the resulting phthalic acid monoester with di- or thiethylene glycol at equimolar ratio of 1:1 in solvent in the presence of catalyst and subsequently esterifying the resulting phthalic acid diester with methacrylic acid in solvent in the presence of polymerization inhibitor.
