FIELD: synthesis of organometallic compounds. SUBSTANCE: invention provides novel fluorinated arylmagnesium compounds prepared by interaction of fluorinated aromatic compounds with halogenated hydrocarbon and magnesium in ether solvent or ether/hydrocarbon mixture. Using this way, desired compound can be efficiently obtained through single-step reaction at low cost. Arylmagnesium products thus obtained are used as reagents for introduction of fluorinated aromatic groups into various organic compounds. Fluoroarylboron compounds are prepared by adding ethereal solution of fluorinated arylmagnesium compounds and ethereal solution of boron halide to hydrocarbon having boiling temperature higher than that of ether solvent and carrying out reaction as ether solvent vaporizes. This technique enables selective preparation of desired boron compounds at low cost, which gives advantage in large-scale production of these compounds.
