FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed invention is designed for use in bypass control of turbine of turbocompressor and for recirculation of exhaust gases in diesel engine. Device is made in form of spool valve mechanism with housing 1 provided with three channels. Two channels, 4 and 5, are arranged opposite to third channel 3. Axis of third channel is located between axes of two first channels. Housing 1 is made in form of cylinder with one solid end face bottom 9 and other split and face bottom 2. Solid bottom 9 has supply branch pipe 17. Shims 18 are found in split bottom. Space 6 between double walls of housing has inlet branch pipe 7 and outlet branch pipe 8 for connection with diesel engine cooling system. Spool valve mechanism control member consists of two pistons, 12 and 13, connected by rod 11. One end of rod 11 is secured stationary in piston 12, and the other end is installed by its spherical pivot in bottom of piston 13. Contact of rod is provided by spring. Device easily falls into layout of basic diesel engine, no considerable modifications of design of gas-air ducts and turbocompressor are required.
