FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power plants designed for generating electric energy and using diesel engines. Proposed power plant contains diesel engine with air supply system connected with electric generator, recovery boiler connected by gas intake branch pipe with diesel engine exhaust branch pipe, and main line to deliver heat carrier into recovery boiler. Plant is furnished also with diesel engine fuel tank, boiler oil tank, boiler oil heat exchanger, tank for light fractions, tank for hydrocarbon material used as heat carrier. Tank for hydrocarbon material is connected with main line delivering hydrocarbon material into recovery boiler through space of hydrocarbon material of heat exchanger for boiler oil whose outlet branch pipe is connected with boiler oil tank. Plant incorporates also cooling heat exchanger whose outlet branch pipe is connected with light fractions tank, evaporating column connected through inlet branch pipe with branch pipe to let out hydrocarbon material from recovery boiler, and connected by upper outlet branch pipe with inlet branch pipe of cooling heat exchanger and by lower outlet branch pipe with inlet branch pipe of heat exchanger for boiler oil. Air spaces of light fractions tank and boiler oil tank are connected by pipeline with inlet branch pipe of diesel engine air supply system. Invention makes it possible to solve the problem of production of hydrocarbon fuels for diesel engines of power plants operating on difficult terrains.
