FIELD: technology testing hollow articles for tightness. SUBSTANCE: hollow article is submerged into liquid, pressure in it is raised and appearance of bubbles is controlled visually. Temperature of liquid and pressure in space of article are decreased simultaneously with submersion of article into liquid, then temperature of liquid and pressure in space of article are raised simultaneously to values higher than those of environment and later pressure and temperature are lowered to values of environment. EFFECT: enhanced authenticity of test of hollow articles for tightness. 1 dwg
