FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves determining homeostasis indices of population groups inhabiting ecologically unfavorable territories. To do it, oncofetal antigens like carcinoembryo antigen, alpha-fetoprotein human chorionic gonadotropin and ferritin are selected as homeostasis indices. Group mean value of one of the indices being increased by more then 50% and/or the number of sample positive on one the indices by 15% and more when compared to the control group, conclusions are drawn concerning population predisposition to oncological; diseases.
