SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to detection of asparaginase in sample or preparation, which are brought into contact with solid carrier immobilizing enzyme reporter. The latter detaches from its carrier if active hydrolase is present. After contact with solid carrier, sample with enzyme reporter is brought into interaction with color indicator. When detected, hydrolase is indicative of the presence of a specific pathogenic factor or pathogenic condition, e.g. candidiasis. Detection procedure is carried out in receiver partly formed by first and second opposite walls facing each other by their inside sides. Walls are made from light- transparent material.
