FIELD: construction engineering; foundations suffering heavy overturning moments. SUBSTANCE: foundation of tower structure has main supporting member carrying wall guard, auxiliary supporting member placed under main one, and stressed upper tie rods, of which some are fixed at their upper and lower ends to auxiliary and main supporting members, respectively; other ones are fixed at their lower ends to auxiliary supporting member, passed through main supporting member, and fixed at upper end to wall guard. Novelty is that foundation is provided with set of blocks mounted on auxiliary supporting member and power-driven tensioning device connected via electric circuit to stress sensors mounted under main supporting member over its perimeter; stressed vertical tie rods whose upper ends are fixed to wall guard are passed at lower ends through set of blocks and joined to tensioning device. EFFECT: improved reliability of foundation taking heavy overturning moments. 1 cl, 4 dwg
