FIELD: space crafts. SUBSTANCE: device to transfer gas in fuel tank pressurization system has carry-on compressor placed in hermetically sealed container and connected by high-pressure pneumatic lines with pressurization bottles and by low-pressure lines, with fuel gas spaces. Space between carry-on compressor and container is filled with material whose melting temperature is lower than maximum working temperature of ribbed compressor. Mass of fill-in material is calculated by equation. Method of carry-on compressor temperature control includes removal of heat from operating compressor enclosed in hermetically sealed container. With compressor operating, heat is accumulated by fill-in material whose melting temperature is lower than that of upper temperature level of operating compressor. Material turns into liquid and, after stopping of compressor, it is cooled to solid state. EFFECT: improved survivability and reliability of fuel tank pressurization system at space flight. 3 cl, 1 dwg
