FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed system has fuel injection pump, nozzles, fuel accumulator, fuel pressure hydromechanical regulator in accumulator, electronic control unit, fuel feed pump coupled with fuel injection pump, fuel pipes and fuel tank. Pressure regulator installed on fuel feed pump is made in form of hollow housing with two holes. Guide cantilever mounted in one of holes is provided with communicating axial delivery and drain channels. Pusher in form of blind bushing is installed on guide. Bushing is in contact with spring of pressure relief valve installed in bypass channels of fuel feed pump. Inner walls of pusher and end face of guide limit variable volume of hydraulic chamber connected through axial channel with delivery and drain channels. By command from electronic control unit, variable volume hydraulic chamber can be placed in communication through axial channel of guide either with fuel accumulator, or with fuel tank.
