FIELD: food and pharmaceutic industries, electronics; applicable in other branches of industry, where drying of products with automatic maintaining of moisture content is required. SUBSTANCE: the drier has a drum in the form of a hollow perforated cylinder for rotation around the longitudinal axis with a fixed pneumonic cell; the cylinder is made of material having a high friction material and perforated by air-supply orifices at an angle to the surface; their diameter proportionally decreases from the beginning of the drum to its end. The use of gas lubricant for drying and conveyance of products makes it possible to use the drier for products made of brittle materials and having easily damageable surfaces, as well as for those for which stiff mechanical contact with the bearing surfaces of the process equipment is introlerable. The process of drying of products may be combined with their conveyance due to inclination of the air-supply orifices. EFFECT: enhanced quality of drying without any use of the test and mass-measuring equipment, reduced power consumption, reduced cost of products and enhanced efficiency of production. 6 dwg
