FIELD: mechanical engineering, food and pharmaceutical industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed device can be used in any industries where drying of articles with orientated delivery to processing stations is required. Device has drum form of hollow perforated cylinder made for rotation around longitudinal axis and provided with stationary pneumatic chamber. Cylinder is made material featuring high friction coefficient. Perforation holes are tilted in zone of drying and preliminary orientation, zone of drying of incorrectly orientated articles and zone of drying of correctly orientated articles in one plane, and in zone of drying and final orientation of article, in two planes. Pneumatic chamber is made truncated to feeding and receiving conveyers at side opposite to orientation side is divided into three sections by solid partitions. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, increased reliability, reduced energy consumption and simplified design. 6 dwg
