FIELD: materials handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed pallet loader has vertical frame and two horizontal lifting forks projecting from frame and made for vertical displacement together with frame under action of lifting mechanism. Each fork has support roller on its free end opposite to frame. This roller, being in contact with support surface, is installed on tunable lever mounted for turning on turnable axle found on fork. Turnable lever is made for turning downwards. Lifting mechanism is provided with post installed for rising and lowering inside vertical hollow. This post is connected with frame to provide displacement of frame and forks upwards and downwards. Lifting mechanism is furnished also with rocket hinge-coupled with frame. One end of rocker is connected through rod with turnable lever. Rod is connected with turnable lever through hinge joint located at a distance from turnable axle. End of rocker opposite to rod is connected with wire rope, cable or chain passed over two pulleys installed on frame and over post to place of fixing. Post is installed to provide lifting of frame at upward motion and simultaneous turning of rocker by means of wire rope, cable or chain. Rocker, in its turn, is installed for turning under action of traction force applied to turnable lever rod and directed downwards to raise forks relative to support surface.
