SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a base station for parking a cleaning robot, wherein the cleaning robot includes a wiping platform whereto a flexible wiping material is attached replaceably to form a wiping surface for wipeing the work surface whereon the cleaning robot travels; the base station includes: a storage module intended for storage of continuous main wiping materials; a supply module, which moves the free end of the main wiping material to the tear point so that the free end would be torn from said main wiping material, thus forming said wiping material.

EFFECT: positive effects of the invention are as follows: after the cleaning robot returns to the base station, the cleaning material is automatically installed without user involvement.
