FIELD: shipbuilding and aviation; jet propellers working on combustion products. SUBSTANCE: jet propeller has housing with fixed blades and rotor which is movable in angular direction and is provided with blades. Blades form compression chamber in front extremity, turbine chamber in rear extremity and combustion chamber located between first two chambers. Combustion chamber is connected with power carrier supply main. Jet propeller is provided with nozzle for discharge of combustion products into surrounding medium. Shaft of rotor is hollow; it is supported by pipe for angular motion. Holder with adjustable spring is mounted on pipe after turbine; it is axially movable. Pipe has ports between turbine and holder which are closed by holder when propeller is inoperative. EFFECT: extended range of use of propeller in air and water. 2 dwg
