FIELD: shipbuilding; forming high-speed flat-bottomed vessels with propulsors working in air medium. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in making flat bottom and providing the vessel with propulsor. Bottom is provided with vertical plate which is turnable relative to axis at fore extremity. Fore extremity is raked and its height corresponds to maximum height of wave for selected operating conditions. Center of mass of hull is shifted towards aft extremity. Propulsor is made in form of at least one flying vehicle connected with fore extremity of vessel via winch which is controllable in force by means of rope. EFFECT: increased running speed of vessel up to speed of air transportation; high safety of navigation; possibility of running ashore.
