FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: safety clutch may be used in systems of drives of different machines. Safety clutch had driving and driven half-couplings mounted on shaft with friction member positioned between them. Ends of half-couplings are provided with cams. Driving half-coupling is installed on shaft freely, and driven half-coupling is mounted on key. Safety clutch includes releasing mechanism arranged in driven half-coupling hub, internal surface of which is provided with tapered rejection. Releasing mechanism consists of pressure spring interacting with tapered washer which has radial inclined recesses accommodating solids of revolution contacting nut end. Assembly for adjustment of transmitted torque value is made as bolt with shaped nut positioned in central axial hole of shaft. Shaped nut is arranged in longitudinal through recess of shaft. With bolt turned, shaped nut moves along longitudinal recess of shaft, thereby decreasing of increasing force of spring pressure on tapered washer. EFFECT: enhanced convenience of operation. 2 dwg
