PULL-TYPE BOOM SPRAYER Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: sprayer has chassis with portal and suspension, multisectional boom with nozzles and flexible hoses. Portal has central guide carrying suspension made in the form of slide with horizontal shaft. Boom central section is suspended onto horizontal shaft and connected through springs and shock-absorbers to slide. Boom is provided with cylindrical rollers which embrace portal vertical side guides at two opposite sides. Boom outer sections may be folded back in vertical plane. Movable equally spaced nozzles are arranged along boom on rotary drums. Sprayer of such construction may be used for spraying of field crops and applying liquid complex and other mineral fertilizers. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation by reduced boom oscillation frequency and amplitude during operation of sprayer. 4 cl, 2 dwg
