FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: described is new adhesive composition based on solution of resol resin and polyvinyl butyral. Solvent is ether-aldehyde fraction which is by-product during ethanol production, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: resol resin, 14.5-24.8; polyvinyl butyral, 7-11; ether-aldehyde fraction, 66.2-78.5. EFFECT: reduced cost of adhesive, increased ultimate strength during shear of adhesive joint, increased content of dry residue in adhesive composition. 6 ex, 2 tbl
