FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: nonwoven materials are treated to impart stability properties, in particular wettability, which can by applicable in medicine, veterinary, and agriculture. Stable treatment composition in the form of aqueous emulsion with viscosity below ca. 100 VPa.s at 25 C contains, as viscosity modifier, 5-80% of alkylpolyglycoside with 8-10 carbon atoms in alkyl chain. Composition can contain a surfactant in the form of ethoxylated hydrogenised oil and sorbitan monooleate with less than 20% of solids. Composition is applied onto substrate in the form of 5-80-% aqueous solution emulsion by spraying or immersion in bath. EFFECT: prolonged utilization period (at least to cycles) when tested for drainage and increased wettability. 16 cl, 2 dwg, 7 tbl, 80 ex
