FIELD: medical polymer materials. SUBSTANCE: invention provides flexible polymer film rapidly contracting when in water, which can be used in a disposable absorbing means to impart improved wipe-off property to the latter. Film contains 3 to 75% of elastomeric polymer and 25 to 97% of water-dispersible polymer. When immersed in excess water for at least 15 min, film loses at least 15% of its surface.
