FIELD: television. SUBSTANCE: proposed adaptive circuit extracts horizontal and vertical picking signals from videosignal by combining characteristics of videosignal with different delays. It incorporates correlator sensitive to correlation of characteristics delayed differently in videosignal to generate output signal that presents degree of relation of above-mentioned horizontal and vertical correlation in videosignal, correlator of output signal that addresses permanent storage transmitting test signal to controller of level of signal. Picking signal generated adaptively is luminance component for controlled picking extracted from videosignal that is complex signal including chromaticity component. Extraction of luminance component is preferably realized on adaptive basis, with the aid of generation of characteristics of horizontal and vertical comb filtering, actually by way of combining in videosignal of characteristics with different delay and with the use of controller of level of signal combining characteristics of horizontal and vertical comb filtering in proportions determined by output signal of controller of level of signal.
