FIELD: equipment for protecting head from mechanical shocks and reduced temperatures. SUBSTANCE: protective headwear has helmet with body, warming member and internal fitting. Warming member is made in the form of casing composed of head part, shield, headphones and occiput plate, and has upper and lining parts. Upper portion of head part has joint arranged in its middle portion and zipper fastener attached to joint. Openings in upper and lining joints extending along edges of occiput plate, on left and right sides of it, are adapted for insertion of adjusting arced members of fittings. Parts of lining portion of head are made from fur and have smaller sizes than parts of upper part of head made from fabric to define space between helmet body and lining of casing for accommodating inner helmet fittings. Protective wear of such construction may be used in cold climatic zones. EFFECT: simplified construction and convenient usage. 3 dwg
