FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves removing a portion of the mammary gland affected by tumor and including subclavicular muscular subscapular fat. External boundary of the great thoracic muscle is selected and intersected at the places where it is attached to humerus head. Medial base of the muscle is separated, moved in the bed of the removed gland tissue and together with the rest gland tissue portion. The so obtained transplant is bent over the wound area as a flap on base and fixed with sutures to the surrounding tissues. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of operation; reduced risk of traumatic complications.
