FIELD: pharmaceutical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of disinfecting and curative iodine-containing preparations. Method of preparing disinfecting agent is carried out by reaction of iodine chelating with products of copolymerization of ethylene and propylene oxides with C₁₂-C₁₄-alcohols fraction. Polyethylene oxide-400 is added to reaction mixture additionally. Components are taken in the following ratio, wt.-%: crystalline iodine, 10-15; copolymerization product, 50-60 and polyethylene oxide-400, 30-40.
