FIELD: refrigerating engineering; production of artificial water ice. SUBSTANCE: ice generator includes upper working tank and lower drainage tank. Working tank is provided with inclined detachable perforated chute and cooling elements of tube ice freezers. They are made in form of vertical cylindrical, conical or polyhedral tubes. Supply of coolant to their interior is effected on one side through straightway bottom. Other bottom is made in form of blind flat, concave or convex surface, thus making it possible to freeze ice on outer surfaces of cooling elements and to ensure its free sliding-off in thawing either by gravity or under action of expulsive force. EFFECT: possibility of obtaining smooth thickness of frozen ice; mechanization of ice making process due to facilitated freezing and removal without mechanical devices. 10 dwg
