FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with technique and gear to transmit electric energy to stationary and mobile users of electric energy. Technical result of invention consists in raised efficiency, reduced losses and enhanced reliability of transmission of electric energy, in provision of possibility of transmission of electric energy to air space beyond limits of ionosphere, in capability to transmit electric energy beyond limits of atmospheric layer without arrangement of spherical radiators at altitude of 4.0-9.0 km connected by electric conductors with oscillation generator and receiver installed on the Earth, absence of Joule's losses for transmission of electric energy. Technique of transmission of electric energy on high frequency through terrestrial space includes generation of electromagnetic oscillations and their transmission to user over communication line, formation of conducting channels in atmosphere between high-frequency generators of electromagnetic oscillations and energy receivers which pass through conducting body located in terrestrial space. Conducting channels are formed by photoionization of air by laser radiation and electric puncture of ionized air.
