FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: given electric machine has stator with winding and permeable ring parts, bearings. At least one of ring parts of rotor has surface arranged with gap relative to surface of permeable ring part of stator facing it. Certain section of given permeable ring part of stator is made of magnetically hard material and has poles providing for formation of magnetic field in gap to contain magnetic fluid. Composite section of ring part of stator made of magnetically hard material is confined on outer side in casing produced from nonmagnetic material. Pole piece with cut concentrators of magnetic flux that forms gap jointly with ring part of rotor is anchored on pole facing gap. Nonmagnetic straps continuing gap with ring part of stator and preventing spread of magnetic fluid along gap are located on pole piece and permeable section of ring part of rotor on outer sides of gap. Nonmagnetic spacer installed in area of ring part of stator separates pole piece and permeable section of ring part of stator. EFFECT: enhanced adaptability of electric machine to manufacture, increased reliability and prolonged service life of electric machine. 2 dwg
