FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying mean linear and mean volume blood circulation velocity as index values describing periodontium and oral mucosa areas. The initial values, the values at 1-1.5 min and at 2.5-3 min from the test beginning are determined. Dropped magnitudes of the values at 1-1.5 min and their recovery to 2.5-3 min is estimated as normal blood vessel function. The values dropping both at 1-1.5 min and at 2.5-3 min, reduced blood vessel function is to be concluded. The values growing to 1-1.5 min without getting recovered to 2.5-3 min, blood vessel function is considered to be atypical. The mean linear velocity and mean volume blood circulation velocity are measured by means of ultrasonic dopplerflowmetry method.
