FIELD: medicine, medicinal chemistry. SUBSTANCE: hemosorbent is subjected for oxidation with 0.10-0.15 N solution of sodium hypochlorite for 5-7 min at the rate 90-110 ml/min on the basis of 500 ml per 50 g of sorbent. Method of modification results to the enhanced effectiveness of detoxication process at hemosorption, decrease percent of lethality. Invention can be used for treatment of patients with exogenous and endogenous intoxications. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment, decreased period and cost of treatment. 4 tbl, 1 dwg
