FIELD: concentration of ores of nonferrous metals and nonmetallic minerals ; flotation separation of sulfide-apatite-magnetite ores for obtaining apatite concentrate in hard circulating water. SUBSTANCE: method includes grinding and floatation of copper-bearing minerals and flotation of apatite from tailings of check copper floatation with addition of water glass and fatty acid collector; soda ash in the amount of 2 to 6 kg/t is introduced into grinding process to ensure transfer of salts of liquid into difficultly soluble compounds. Fatty acid collectors is preliminarily saponified with 0.5 to 3.0-% of soda ash solution at temperature of 60-80 C for 30-40 min in the amount sufficient for removal of difficultly soluble compounds of hardness salts.
