FIELD: light industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves series knitting of double-sided fabric on the basis of incomplete high-index press weaving by switching off both needles in accordance with pattern repeat across the pattern; offsetting one of needles for a distance of at least one needle stroke in one direction, with following offsetting, in at least one revolution of carriage, upon formation of stitches by means of one needle and formation of outlines by means of other needle, in opposite direction.
