FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: combustion chamber includes cylindrical flame tube with holes for delivery of air to combustion zone which are smoothly located over circle of flame tube and their total flow-passage area is determined by definite method; combustion chamber also includes taper prechamber with gas burner located along its axis and provided with circular row of gas dispensing holes. Holes used for delivery of air to combustion zone have total flow-passage area Fh, determined by the following formula: where αΣ is total excess-air coefficient; Fcom is total flow-passage area of combustion chamber by air. Holes used for delivery of air to combustion zone are just large and small holes smoothly located over circumference of flame tube at distance form prechamber equal to 0.2 to 0.4 of diameter of flame tube. Small holes are located over circumference of flame tube between large holes and their total flow-passage are is equal to 0.4-0.6 of total flow-passage area of large holes.
