FIELD: lifting operations in emergency-rescue works. SUBSTANCE: lifting apparatus has telescopic base mounted on carcass truck so that it may be lifted to vertical position. Boom system is pivotally mounted relative to telescopic base. Main arm of boom system is pivotally connected to base. Main cradle is pivotally fastened on end arm of boom system. Load lifting winch with rope attached to drum is mounted on telescopic base. Auxiliary cradle is positioned independently of main cradle for displacement in vertical plane in space by means of ropes. Ropes are fastened on auxiliary cradle so as to run around sheaves mounted on one of boom system arms. Main and auxiliary cradles are provided with joining units which allow cradles to be joined upon engagement in space. Sheaves may be mounted on main arm of boom system. EFFECT: simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 2 cl, 7 dwg
