FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: when treating bottom zones of wells with reduced oil recovery involving mudding with clay particles and asphaltene-tar-paraffin deposits, mixture of light pyrolysis tar (or light pyrolysis tar-based products) with alpha-olefins at volume ratio from 9:1 to 1:9 is used along with alkali solution containing 1-2% alkali component. Injection of hydrocarbon fluid and alkali solution and pulling out of dissolution and reaction products are effected under repressive-depressive wave conditions with frequency going from 1 to 400 Hz. EFFECT: increased permeability of treated formation region hindered by clayey and asphaltene- tar-paraffin deposits and thereby increased oil recovery. 2 tbl
