FIELD: radio electronic measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for usage in multichannel measurements conducted specifically in emergency alarm system of protected facilities. Current pulses are employed in proposed device to excite resonance inductive-capacitive pickups tuned to needed resonance frequency. In this case frequency of oscillations with amplitude exceeding preset level is extracted. Insertion of microprocessor into device makes it possible to combine measurement process with operations of self-test of serviceability of pickups. Increased accuracy of measurement is achieved due to exclusion of commutation of analog circuits and to provision of supply to passive pickups by pulses of current which in its turn keeps out effect of resistance of connecting wires.
