Hair fixing material has vitrification temperature of at least 30 C. Hair fixing material has grafted organosilicon polymer with polysiloxane structure grafted with anionic hydrocarbon radical. Apparatus provides wetting capacity of at least 30 mg/s. Method involves treating keratin filaments by applying hair fixing composition to filaments by spraying device to provide for wetting capacity of at least 30 mg/s. Composition imparts softness, easy combing and other qualities to hair allowing good hair-do to be provided.
