FIELD: composites. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to manufacturing preliminarily impregnated filler for subsequent molding of products by "dry" and "wet" coiling techniques or hot molding and can be used when creating and operating heavy-duty parts and structures made of carbon plastics. For that, fibrous carbon material is continuously impregnated with polymer binder after passing electric current through segment of filler moving between electrodes, during which time adsorbed water, process lubricant, and surface impurities are completely removed from material. EFFECT: increased productivity of operation and improved strength characteristics of carbon plastics. 1 dwg
