FIELD: generation of electric power by means of conversion of geothermal energy. SUBSTANCE: conversion of energy is performed by means of endothermal reactions in well bottom for entrapment and storage of deep Earth's heat and endothermic reactions in well mouth for release of heat stored in products of endothermic reactions. According to one preferable version of present invention, endothermic reaction is reaction of decomposition of water. For activation of endothermic reaction, as well for production and separation of resulting products, use is made of catalytic device where each product is diffused selectively to respective separate passage. Endothermic reaction products are subjected to exothermic reaction in internal combustion turbine and exothermic reaction products are immediately condensed in refrigerator. According to one preferable version of present invention, refrigerator condenses steam to water for return of it to well, thus ensuring closed cycle. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of conversion of geothermal energy to electric energy. 55 cl, 12 dwg
