FIELD: providing of safety, applicable for mine clearing of ground minefields. SUBSTANCE: the method is based on the use of a pulse X-radiation source with an average energy of quanta within 100 to 300 keV, pulse length within 10-3÷10-4 S, radiation energy flux in the mine place within 10-5 to 10-8 J/sq.cm, and the sound pulse arising at a heating-up of the initiating explosive is detected by one or several sound detectors. The method of neutralization of the detected mines consists in the fact that for neutralization use is made of a pulse of X-radiation with an average energy of quanta within 100 to 300 keV, radiation energy flux in the mine place within 0.1 to 10 J/sq. cm, pulse length within 1 to 30S.
