FIELD: radiochemical technology; recovery of acidic radioactive wastes. SUBSTANCE: environmental safety requirements dictate transformation of long-living radionuclides into forms preventing their escape into environment during their storage. Extracting mixture proposed for the purpose is based on boron-organic compound and synergistic additives in organic solvent for simultaneous extraction of cesium, strontium, and transuranium elements from acidic solutions. Cobidental organophosphorus compounds, substituted or unsubstituted polyethylene glycol are used as synergistic additives; polyfluorine-substituted sulfones may be used as organic solvents. Extracting properties of proposed mixtures relative to various nuclides are given in description of invention. Proposed mixture provides for single-cycle recovery of acidic radioactive wastes.
