FIELD: electrically isolated switching devices. SUBSTANCE: relay has light-emitting diode optically coupled with array of series-connected photodiodes, switching device, and discharging device; in addition, it is provided with discharge enhancing device optically coupled with light-emitting diode and discharge accelerating device built around n-channel MOS and p-channel MOS transistors, first and second photodiodes, and capacitor; drain of n-channel MOS transistor, gate of p-channel MOS transistor, and first-photodiode anode of device are connected to first input of switching device; source of n-channel MOS transistor, negative plate of capacitor, and second-photodiode anode are connected to second input of switching device. First-photodiode cathode is connected to positive plate of capacitor and to source of p-channel MOS transistor whose drain is connected to gate of n-channel MOS transistor and to second-photodiode cathode.
