FIELD: transport engineering; contact systems of electrified transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed compensated spring dropper has Y- shaped auxiliary cable rigidly secured on carrier cable by means of special clamps. Two vertical sprung droppers are suspended from cable. Lower end of sprung droppers are connected to contact wire. Temperature compensator and isolator are cut into auxiliary cable. EFFECT: provision of reliable and economical current collection on high speed lines and in areas with considerable temperature variations owing to equalizing rigidly and height of system wires. 1 dwg
