FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to vehicle power supplies with aerial contact lines with their auxiliaries, devices to damp mechanical oscillations of wires and can be used to suppress self-oscillation of catenary. The latter is furnished with a 1.5-to-2.5 m-long device to prevent development of self-oscillations made up of two parts tightly jointed together. Stabiliser lower part features a concave shape, while upper part is flat. Aerodynamic stabiliser bottom part inside accommodates crosswise ribs secured to stabiliser bottom upper edge and interconnected by crosspieces. Stabiliser bottom outer surface accommodates two rods with their top part rigidly jointed to its outer surface. Stabiliser bottom outer surface supports two rods with their top part rigidly coupled with stabiliser outer surface. Top part of said rods is rigidly jointed to stabiliser outer surface and their bottom part can lock rods in standard clamps. Top part of aerodynamic stabiliser is jointed to bottom part and has eyes welded thereto to fasten strings connected to string clamps. Aerodynamic stabiliser is arranged inside catenary along aerial contact line.
