FIELD: mining and construction engineering; applicable in trenchless laying of underground service lines. SUBSTANCE: device has a body in the form of bracket attached to driven pipe and percussion unit made in the form of rocking weight with link hinged to bracket and rocking drive including motor and crank. Link of percussion unit has protrusion located below axis of rocking for kinematic engagement with crank of rocking drive whose rotation axis is displaced horizontally to side of driven pipe relative to link rocking axis through distance less than crank length. Length of crank is less than total distance from protrusion of link percussion unit to its rocking axis and distance between this rocking axis and rotation axis of rocking drive crank. EFFECT: higher efficiency of driving of long members (pipes) into ground due to use of electromechanical drive, including also hydraulic drive. 7 cl, 7 dwg
