FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves concurrently applying repeated sclera-strengthening interventions. The first stage involves concurrently applying scleroplastic repair of one eye and sclera-strengthening injection into the matched eye. The second stage of treatment is applied one year later. It involves concurrently applying repeated sclera-strengthening interventions on both eyes. Scleroplastic repair of an eye is carried out after sclera-strengthening injection and sclera-strengthening injection is carried out after scleroplastic repair. EFFECT: marked sclera-strengthening effect; stimulated repetition of tissular, vascular responses; high biomechanical sclera stability.
