FIELD: rolled stock production, mainly, tensioning apparatuses of double-floor loop strip accumulators in continuous mills for cold endless rolling. SUBSTANCE: tensioning apparatus includes carriages of upper and lower floors for tensioning strip. Said carriages are joined by means of ropes with drum ( ed over strip accumulator. Winch has two drums, each drum has right- and left-handed grooves for winding ropes that couple balancing units of carriages with drums through guiding units. Deflection units are mounted under guiding units of tensioning carriage of upper floor in such a way that at winding ropes (extending from deflection units) onto drums of winch, overlapping of rope upon adjoining turns of rope on drums is prevented.
