FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is aimed at decreasing unbalance of wind-wheel blade relative to rotor axis, decreasing angle of blade turning in process of windwheel operation, increasing efficiency and operation reliability of windwheel. Proposed wind wheel has vertical shaft of rotor, movable blades installed on brackets and stops for blades. According to invention, blades are mounted in one or several rows in vertical for rotation relative to horizontal axis of brackets and are furnished with counterweights. Center of gravity of each blade with counterweight at its position closed to vertical is located on level of horizontal axis of corresponding bracket or somewhat lower, and with blades turning under action of wind around axis of rotor vertical shaft and relative to horizontal axis of brackets, with rear edge facing the wind, vertical projection of resultant force of weight of each blade with counterweight and aerodynamic forces acting onto blades is directed downwards thus turning the blades to contact with stops in position close to vertical.
