FIELD: determination of flow characteristics of various tapering devices: diaphragms, throttle valves, nozzles and jets. SUBSTANCE: proposed plant includes service tank with level gauge fitted on its and drain tank which are connected by means of working and overflow mains, as well as two gas supply and discharge mains each of which is provided with electromagnetic valve. Tanks are provided with pressure meters and temperature control jackets. Working main is provided with first heat exchanger, filter, flow meter, second heat exchanger and member under test with temperature gauge at inlet and outlet and pressure differential gauge. Pipe lines of working main are provided with heat insulation extending from first heat exchanger as far as member under test. Control of electromagnetic valves and cocks is effected by means of computer where readings of pressure and temperature gauges are stored. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability. 1 dwg
